Sorry if ive bored you but this is getting extremely annoying, especially the sound stutter problem. Software: Windows Vista SP1 (:shivers:), μtorrent 1.8.2, NOD32 v2.70.39, Comodo firewall Hardware: Toshiba Satellite pro U200, Intel Core 2 Duo 1.8GHZ, 2GB RAM, μtorrent is on the primary disk but the torrents download to a USB external 500GB disk. It only does it when I leave it overnight.
I can be downloading/seeding a torrent for hours while working on the pc, and nothing like this happens. If I leave it doing nothing or downloading other stuff everything is allright the next morning (or afternoon ) The reason Im associating this with μtorrent (I can hear the cries of "youve got a virus", "spyware", "your pc is crap" etc coming o) is that this only happens after Ive left the pc overnight, downloading a torrent (Note: I only d/l one torrent at a time for multiple connections theorists, and that is with μtorrent's default settings of 50 per torrent and 200 g-max). This weirdly enough continues even when I close μtorrent, and doesnt stop even with logging off. Whenever I leave a torrent to download overnight, the next day the computer is sluggish, audio randomly stutters, and even something as simple as opening a website causes massive CPU spikes. Lately however, I encounter an annoyance which I think is indirectly related to it. Ive been using μtorrent for a long time, and never had any problems with it.
